General
Keisuke is the #2 driver of the Red Suns. He is also the first to realize that a skilled Hachi Roku drives on Akina and was also the first to race it. Out of all the Initial D characters, he seems the most attached to it.
Personality
Keisuke has a competitive nature, only wanting to race opponents he finds worthy of racing someone like him. Like Takumi, he seems to hide many mixed emotions inside of him. Part of him wants to defeat the Hachi Roku while the other part wants it to remain undefeated. He's also the type that tends to fully concentrate on one thing. For example, he stopped dating so that he could concentrate more on driving.
Friends and Family
Keisuke's parents are rich doctors. He also has an older brother, Ryosuke, who is his closest friend, and who he and the rest of the team looks up to as their #1 driver. His other friends are the other members of the RedSuns. He's often seen with Hiroshi and has also taken extra notice of Kenta's driving.

Keisuke's only like is his yellow Mazda Enfini FD3S and excels at the ABS drift. His initial style was flooring the accelerator, but later learns that it could work against him, so he practices acceleration techniques. Ryosuke admires how Keisuke is able to keep up with him without thinking out anything. Because of that, Takeshi says that Keisuke has a weak aura when he races. However, the more Keisuke drives, the more his driving style resemble's his older brother's. Both Keisuke and Ryosuke are well known street racers in the racing world, and Keisuke plans to become a professional racer one day.
