Kyouichi is a professional racer and is the leader of the Emperors, which is a team of professional Lancer Evolution racers. On the spoiler of his car, you can see the decals of all the teams he has beaten. He cuts the decals in half and places them upside-down.
Personality
His clothes say it all. Kyouichi is overconfident, flashy, and when behind the wheel, he becomes impatient.
Friends and Family
Kyouichi is often seen with Seiji, a member of his team. He views Ryosuke as a rival since Ryosuke has already beaten him once.
Racing
As mentioned, Kyouichi is a professional racer. His car is a Lancer Evolution III, and his racing style lacks patience. He goes at any opportunity to get the lead, even if it means risking his life.
Differences from the Anime
- Kyouichi is not a professional racer. He is just from the Toudou school, whose graduates often become professional racers.
- He does not put team decals on his spoiler. Seiji does.
- Kyouichi is actually not flashy nor impatient like he is in the Live Action.
- His racing style is to tailgate the leading car until the very end, when he will take the lead. He never takes the lead in the beginning or middle of the race as he did in the Live Action.
