General
Mako teams up with her friend, Sayuki, and together they are the fastest on Mount Usui. She has a "celebrity" crush on Takahashi Ryosuke but likes Iketani.
Personality
Mako is kind of tomboyish and not as outgoing as her driving partner. She calls herself the "quiet" type whose personality changes behind the wheel. However, when she drives fast and performs drifts, guys don't see her as a girl. She knows a lot about cars but trys to hide it as much as possible because of that.
Friends and Family
Mako's navigator, Sayuki, is one of her closest friends. For the two years that Mako has driven, Sayuki has been riding with her in the passenger seat. After her encounter with Iketani, they became friends and was introduced to some of the other members of the Akina Speedstars.

Mako has been driving for two years with her friend, Sayuki, on Mount Usui. With their SilEighty, they are the fastest on Mount Usui and are known as "Impact Blue." People find it weird that they drive together, but Mako is able to concentrate more on driving with Sayuki being her extra pair of eyes. Whatever Sayuki says, she does.
