General

Mako and Sayuki are known as Impact Blue and are the best on Usui. Although she doesn't do the driving, her knowledge of driving allows her to be Mako's navigator when they race.

Personality

Sayuki's personality is pretty much opposite of Mako's. She is head strong and determined, the type that doesn't really listen to anybody. She gets peeved when someone underestimates her because she is a woman.

Friends and Family

Mako is one of Sayuki's closest friends and her childhood friend is Shingo of the Night Kids. After the race with Takumi, she was introduced to the members of the SpeedStars and thinks Takumi is cute. Takeshi of the NightKids seems to have a crush on her, but she has no interest in him.

Sayuki has been Mako's driving partner for two years, and they are the fastest on Mount Usui. People find it weird that they drive together, but Mako is able to concentrate more on driving with Sayuki being her extra pair of eyes.
