General
Yuichi is the owner of the gas station that Takumi works at and is also Itsuki's father. Although it's not clear whether he races or used to race, he seems to have a good knowledge of the racing world.
Personality
You can often find Yuichi yelling at Itsuki for his stupid ideas, but when Itsuki is upset, Yuichi is nice to him.
Friends and Family
He only has one child, which is his son, Itsuki. Although he acts as if he thinks Itsuki is an idiot, he still cares for him and spoils him. He is also close friends with Bunta, who goes out drinking with him and hangs out with younger women with him. Fooling around with younger women, however, has made it easy for Itsuki to blackmail him into getting what he wants.
Racing
As mentioned, it's not clear whether he is a former racer, but he has a knowledge of cars and the racing world.
Differences from the Anime
- In the Anime, Yuichi and Itsuki are not related at all.
