Frequently Asked Questions
-
Where do you buy your manga?
I do a lot of online ordering from Amazon. If Borders or Barnes and Nobles send any coupons or deals my way, I'll go in store to buy.
I also don't mind buying gently used manga, which I sometimes get from sellers at Cosplay.com's Marketplace. Some are also bought at various Chinatowns and Anime conventions.

Where do you buy your doujinshi and artbooks?
I buy some of my artbooks from Play-Asia, and a few are from Anime conventions. Some were also found at various Chinatowns and Little Japan.
My doujinshi are usually bought off of someone else (like at Cosplay.com's Marketplace or Addiction) or also from Anime conventions.
-
Can you share scans of your manga so I can read them?
Please remember that everything listed on this site are things I physically own, not scanalations. I'd have to scan hundreds of pages to share them, which I'm not willing to do, sorry.
-
Do you still let people borrow your manga?
Yes, for most of my mangas, I do let friends borrow them. I don't for the doujinshi or artbooks though.
-
Can't you get scanalations for most of these series?
I like owning copies of the manga myself, and I believe in supporting artists that you enjoy. Besides, I do own scanalations of many of the mangas I bought, and I bought them because I enjoyed the scanalations.

How much have you spent on your collection?
Well, here's a rough estimate. Each manga volume costs about $10. Each doujinshi is $10-$20. The artbooks vary from $20-$80. Do the math, and it's easily over $1,000!
